Welcome to my Crochet Blog!

Hello everyone! My name is Tasia, and I am the creative mind behind Tay's Crafty Crochets.

Crocheting has been a passion of mine since I was a young girl. I learned how to sew and crochet when I was just four years old, thanks to the talented women in my family who always had a craft project in the works.

At first, I started out small, practicing different stitches and making small blankets and bags.

But during the pandemic, I found myself needing a way to stay occupied and reduce stress. Crocheting quickly became my go-to activity, and I discovered it was an excellent

stress relief. I can spend hours upon hours crocheting and not even realize how much time has passed.

(For example I speed crocheted this HUGE oversized cardigan in only 36 hours)

My little sister requested that I learn how to make amigurumi crochet projects, and my very first one ever was this cute bee! This project sparked my love of creating cute and tiny plushies.

Since then, I have designed and created a variety of different crochet projects, from cows to dinosaurs with party hats, and my personal favorite - a triceratops with a functional bag. I have given many of these projects as gifts to the little ones in my family, and their joy and happiness have inspired me to expand my skills and share my creations with others.

That's why I started selling my crochet creations at my local crafters' market, and I'm thrilled by the positive feedback I've received. While my plushies are my personal favorite, I also make tote bags, earrings, bandanas, and even keychains, which I will soon be selling on my Etsy shop.

Crocheting has been a source of joy and comfort for me throughout my life. It has allowed me to explore my creativity and share my love of handmade items with others.
